About Us

The concept of the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) was mooted back to 1997. In 1998, it became a provisional member of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) and was made member officially in 2007.

The idea of setting up an Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation of Malaysia was first mooted in 1996 by a member of the Rotary Club of Shah Alam (RCSA), Selangor, whose mother was living with Alzheimer’s.
We provide advice, support, education and training relating to  care skills, awareness and community services to caregivers, healthcare professionals and the public.
As a NGO, ADFM is structured to ensure accountability and governance of funds raised.
Reach us by phone, email or conventional mail.

We are a non-profit organisation set up to promote awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and to help persons with Dementia and their families living in Malaysia.
