The establishment of Support Group(s) with key objectives to:

- Conduct forums and lectures to impart valuable information about .
- Bond and develop beneficial friendships due to similar situations and challenges.
We have been instrumental in providing assistance in the set-up of National Caregivers support groups throughout Malaysia. Presently, the support groups in the various states include Selangor, Johor, Kelantan, Melaka, Penang, Perak and Sabah. We are in the process of setting up in Negeri Sembilan, Pahang and Sarawak. We continue to explore possibilities of support groups to be set up, especially in the East Coast states.
Today, the Network has over 1,000 members and ADFM intends to promote this network with the assistance of other Non-Governmental Organisations, especially in states where there is no support group established. With this virtual platform, a caregiver will have access to other caregivers in the country to share and have discussions. It is our objective to eventually link the National Caregivers’ Support Network to ADFM’s Information Centre – the Multimedia Library and Resource Centre.
The ADFM HELPLINE at 03-7931 5850 also provides support, information and referral services.
